Our Historic Story
150 Years ago, a group of German-American Farmers came together and formed St. Peter Lutheran Church in Fair Haven, Michigan.
The school house doubled as the church and was moved to it's current location in 1964.
The building was built & ready for use in 1897 with Pastor Harrer preaching until 1903.
Through the 1980's the church members would host a variety of dinners, bake sales, & so on to aid the church's growth.
The Choir was originally started in 1913 under Reverend Miller. In 1970 the choir expanded to include men's voices! Today we welcome all individuals over 18 years of age to join the choir.
The building expanded in the late 1980's in order to allow the Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes to study in separate areas along with allowing for inside Fellowship Celebrations.
