Weekly & Daily Prayer - August 7th

Prayer of the Week ~ Collect for the 10th Sunday after Pentecost

Heavenly Father, though we do not deserve Your goodness, still You provide for all our

needs of body and soul. Grant us Your Holy Spirit that we may acknowledge Your gifts,

give thanks for all Your benefits, and serve You in willing obedience; through Jesus

Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God,

now and forever. Amen.

Daily Prayer for Sunday, August 7th

Heavenly Father, You are the Author and Director of all our ways, guiding our steps

according to Your boundless love for us. Grant us, as your beloved children, the

spiritual discernment to see Your hand guiding us and, by the power of the Holy Spirit,

unite our hearts in the joy of following Your way. Through Jesus Christ, Your dear Son,

Amen.
