Prayer of the Week ~ Collect for the 10th Sunday after Pentecost

Heavenly Father, though we do not deserve Your goodness, still You provide for all our

needs of body and soul. Grant us Your Holy Spirit that we may acknowledge Your gifts,

give thanks for all Your benefits, and serve You in willing obedience; through Jesus

Christ, Your Son, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God,

now and forever. Amen.

Daily Prayer for Tuesday, August 8th

Heavenly Father, You know the end from the beginning and all things move according

to Your kind direction. Instill confidence in the hearts of Your redeemed people so that,

by the power of Your Holy Spirit, we may boldly face the futures of our congregations

and seek Your wisdom in guiding their continued service to Your kingdom. Through

Jesus Christ, Your Son, our Lord, Amen.
